Common Questions
How do I arrange an appointment?
Our office staff or answering service will take details of the problem and if the infestation is included in the Mac pest control list of prescribed pests they will arrange an appointment if you wish to go ahead. To postpone a scheduled visit, the customer is to notify Mac Pest Control with at least 24 hr. notice. Contact our office at 201.683.9501.
What do I need to do to prepare for a service visit?
Results of services are strictly relative to and dependent upon the cooperation given by the customer and/or tenants as to sanitary conditions, maintenance, accessibility of the building and/or prompt notification of a pest sighting by customers. If customer or tenant does not cooperate, service may continue, but results cannot be assured and additional charges for service may be applied.
Do I need to be home for the service call?
Customers and Tenants are responsible for providing access into the areas to be serviced on each scheduled appointment. Management companies, Maintenance companies and/or Macpest could also have access to individual keys and provide service with tenants permission.
How do I pay my bill?
Payment of service is due upon receipt of invoice or if a one-time service upon completion of service. Payments are accepted in the form of check to Mac Pest Control and an invoice number should be visible on check. This is the standard form of payment with contract active customers, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been made with Mac Pest Control.
Are the pesticides you use toxic?
During any application of pesticides, human and pets should not contact the treated surfaces until the spray has dried, cover or remove all food and processing equipment during application. Pesticides are part of a responsible pest control program and under controlled circumstances and professional application pesticides will not be hazardous to your health.
